National Minimum Wage increases

The Government have announced the latest rates for the national minimum wage, which will come into effect from 1 October 2015.

The biggest rise is for apprentices. Despite the Low Pay Commission recommending a 7p rise (which would have been a 2.5% increase), the Government has said it will rise 57p from £2.73 to £3.30. This is a 20% increase.
